Five Beautiful Snowshoe/Cross-Country Ski Trails

McLeod Creek Trail offers a relatively flat trail leading from Old Ranch Road all the way to Holiday Ranch Loop Road in Park Meadows. It criss-crosses streams with wooden bridges and offers beautiful views. There’s plenty of parking at Willow Creek Park off Old Ranch Road.

The Rail Trail, 26 miles of reclaimed railroad track starting in Prospector Square in Park City and going all the way to Coalville if you want to, offers a flat, easy and scenic course for skiers or snowshoers.

The Park City Golf Course offers three- and five-kilometer loops for cross-country skiers, operated by White Pine Touring. Stop by the rental center right off Highway 224 and Kearns Boulevard for rates and info.

Park City’s beloved preserved open space at the McPolin Farm makes a gorgeous entry-corridor for our town. It’s also a beautiful place to cross-county ski or snowshoe. The 10-kilometer course is operated by White Pine Touring. Stop into their rental center at Highway 224 and Kearns Boulevard.

Home to the 2002 Olympic Winter Games Nordic events, skinny skiing at Soldier Hollow will make you feel like a champion. More than 30 kilometers of trails offer something for every ability level. Located about a 20-minute drive from Park City in Midway.
