Whether you’re looking for something as mundane as socks and photo paper, or as grand as a $20,000 tennis bracelet, Park City is a shopper’s paradise. Here you’ll find a wide range of options in price and selection, from Wal-Mart and Staples at Kimball Junction to the fancy jewelers and fine art collections on historic Main Street — and everything in between.
The art scene here in Park City is hoppin’, so whether or not you're considering a purchase, at least treat yourself to a gallery stroll through this eclectic assortment of fine art. Most of the 25 galleries, as well as the Kimball Art Center, are within blocks of one another along Main Street. Complete with diverse clothing and shoe boutiques, gift and souvenir shops, Main Street offers a variety of stores selling everything from books to handmade rustic furniture to custom jewelry. And if you could use a lift uphill, grab a free ride on the old-timey Trolley, which regularly loops up and down Main Street.
Not far from Main Street is the North of Main District, or NOMA as the locals call it, on Bonanza Drive. Here you can find pewter kitchen ware, elegant mountain-style furniture, wooden antiques, Donna Karan scarves, and just the right snowsuit for your child.
For more winter wear and gear options for the whole family, check out the retail shops at the Resort Center at the base of Park City Mountain Resort, Silver Lake Village at Deer Valley, and the Village at The Canyons.
In Holiday Village Mall on Park Avenue, you can take a look at the latest in ski and snowboard gear at Gart Sport and then pick up your groceries at Albertson's supermarket.
Snow Creek shopping center on Kearns Boulevard is home to Orion’s, an exceptional music store. Snow Creek also offers shops with hair and nail products, wine accessories, and that whimsical card you’ve been searching for — as well as another grocery store, Dan’s Foods.
The Kimball Junction area offers diverse shopping opportunities. You'll find everything from high fashion and cosmetics to running shoes and crystal at The Tanger Outlet Center, home to 60 manufacturer outlets. Just down the street are a few stores of the big-box variety, where you can find your pet’s favorite chew toy, bath towels and kitchen appliances, computer components, and imported bamboo-framed mirrors. You can also get your groceries at Kimball Junction — at Smith’s or Wild Oats Market.
One more note: If you haven’t yet seen what you’re looking for, fear not. It’s likely you’ll find it here somewhere. Just ask around, and enjoy shopping Park City!
