Park City’s 100-plus restaurants, many of which are award-winning, reflect culinary styles and influences from around the world. The dining experience here caters to every taste, mood and budget. For specifics, have a look at the menus printed in Park City magazine’s Menu Guide. Most restaurants have full liquor service available with dining.
If you want a special kind of gourmet dining experience, check out one of Park City’s adventure dining options. You can have dinner in a mountain lodge after an old-fashioned horse-drawn sleigh ride; with live piano music in a Norwegian-style classic mountainside yurt; or combined with snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.
Just as the restaurant list is long and varied, so is the selection of bars and private clubs here in Park City. Private clubs charge a membership fee of $4 which is valid for three weeks. For this fee, members may host up to seven guests. After dinner, you might want to chill out with an evening of contemporary jazz, sipping martinis, or spice it up a bit in a hot dance club. You can even just hang out, drinking beer from schooners and throwing your peanut shells right on the floor! Whatever atmosphere sounds good, you’ll find it here in Park City.
If you’re looking for candy, cookies, chocolates, confections, ice cream or yogurt, this is the place. Nurse your sweet tooth at one of many (or tour them all!) local businesses specializing in sweets.
Whether you drink coffee in the morning or night, or both, coffee shops in Park City offer regular cups of Joe or any special variety you like. No matter where you are in town, you’ll easily find a place to satisfy your coffee cravings.
Utah law mandates that liquor be sold only in state-licensed stores (you can buy beer at any grocery or convenience store), so if you’re looking for that special bottle of wine or want to make your own cocktails, check out one of three state liquor stores in the Park City area. The Prospector Square location (435.649.7254), at 1901 Sidewinder Drive, is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Located between Dolly’s bookstore and the Park City Museum, the Main Street store (435.649.3293) is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Kimball Junction store (435.658.0860), at 1612 Ute Blvd., is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. All liquor stores are open Monday through Saturday and are closed Sundays and holidays, so plan ahead.
