The Hunt

Over 100 participants raced around Park City Mountain Resort on Saturday, February 7th 2009 for the third annual Park City Academy HUNT. The top three teams finished in just over two hours, after finding the ten checkpoints on the mountain and racing to the finish line. We certainly appreciate all of our wonderful sponsors this year: PCMR, Ski Utah, JANS, Richard E. and Nancy P Marriott Foundation, Skullcandy, Deer Valley Lodging, Coca-Cola, Rossignol, The Yard, The Canyons, Kindersport, Dragon, Smith and Booster Juice. All teams were eligible for prizes provided by our generous sponsors. Two Park City Academy teachers, Cobi Shafe and Mark Nuetzel, won the Grand Prize of two 2009-2010 season passes to PCMR in a drawing at the end of the race. Other teams took home a bounty of prizes including snowboards, Interconnect passes, goggles, helmets, lift tickets, earphones and weekend lodging. It was a successful and fun day for Park City Academy's Scholarship Fund and for all those that participated.
