SUZY HANNEY NAMED NEW PUBLISHER OF PARK CITY MAGAZINE
Park City, Utah (July 29, 2010) - Longtime Park City resident Suzy Hanney has been named the new publisher of Park City Magazine. Suzy replaces former publisher Dixie Geisdorf, who retired in July after 26 years of service to the magazine.
Hanney comes to Park City Magazine from a 15-year career in media and marketing. For the past four years, Hanney has served as director of underwriting for Park City's KPCW, an NPR affiliate. Her career has also included stints as an account executive for Media Partners, in charge of sales for five national luxury magazines; a financial consultant for Smith Barney; and an account executive for Salt Lake City radio stations.
Of her new position, Hanney says, "Since I'll be only the third publisher in 26 years at Park City Magazine, I take my new position very seriously. I'm thrilled to be able to maintain my community relationships here in Park City and to join the magazine's talented, committed staff in making such a highly regarded publication even better."

Park City Magazine, published twice a year, is the most comprehensive guide to the unique mountain community of Park City, informing and entertaining locals and visitors alike with thoughtful stories and captivating images that profile the best of Park City's people, places, history and happenings. It also includes the town's popular Menu Guide and Things to Do. Park City Magazine is owned by Saga City Media, which also publishes Portland Monthly, Seattle Metropolitan, Aspen Sojourner and Vail/Beaver Creek magazines.
Hanney will begin her position with Park City Magazine on September 1, 2010.
