5 Fabulous Ways to Wet Your Whistle

(and stay hydrated in Park City this summer!)

1. Scream for Ice Cream! What better way to cool off than with a nice, icy scoop of ice cream? Check out Cows (402 Main Street), Coldstone Creamery (1700 Park Avenue or 6030 North Market Dr in Redstone), Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (510 Main Street), Main Street Deli (525 Main Street) or La Niche (401 Main Street).

2. Check out the high-flying action at the splash pool at the Utah Park. Yes, even you can learn to ski off the ramps and into the 750,000-gallon pool (or watch Olympic aerialists do it at the Saturday Freestyle shows)! 658.4200 or olyparks.com.

3. Take a dip at one of our town pools: outdoors at the Park City Racquet Club (parkcityrecreation.org) or Silver Mountain Spa (silvermountainsportsclub.com) or inside at Ecker Hill Aquatic Center (pcschools.us).

4. Have a frosty one at one of our three local brew pubs: Squatters (1900 Park Avenue), Wasatch Brew Pub (250 Main Street) or Red Rock Brewery (1640 West Redstone Center Drive). Or check out the cold coffee concoctions and fruit smoothies at local shops like Wasatch Bagels, Einstein Brothers, Cows or Booster Juice.

5. Really want to feel a chill in the heat of summer? Take a few laps around our state-of-the-art ice rink at the Park City Ice . Yup – we have ice skating from July 1st on. Visit parkcityice.org for open skate times and rates.
