Gary Russell's Bar ...

Gary Russell is a wonderful guy to talk to and has a very colorful past. He spends a lot of his time writing cowboy poetry and songs. Once owner of the “Cowboy Museum,” he is active in many Wild West organizations and holds occasional parties in his saloon. He kept the entire Heber Cowboy Poetry event afloat last year when the power went out. He was in the right place at the right time … had an acoustic guitar in the only room that was filled with natural light. When he first walked into the room, I thought God had become a cowboy. It was a wonderful moment.
