The Modular Building Institute (MBI) honored M SPACE, with several awards including three Best of Show at its annual World of Modular convention. USING GOATS TO NIX NOXIOUS WEEDS
The Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter will be conducting a research project this summer in which grazing goats will be used to help control noxious weeds on parts of the nature preserve. Join Nell Larson, Director of Conservation at Swaner, and Sterling Banks, Summit County Extension Director, for a one hour tour of the project site and an explanation of how this innovative method works. PC FILM MUSIC FESTIVAL
Running May 25 - June 3, the PCFMF will screen over 200 independent films. Films, seminars, round tables, free concerts and receptions will all be held at the Festival venues: Prospector and Egyptian Theatres. The PCFMF films includie "My Week With Marilyn", "Me, Miami and Nancy" (which features 30 A-List Actor), "Truth About Kerry" (featuring actress Stana Katic) and "The Presence" (featuring actress Mira Sorvino). GOING PLACES EXHIBIT AT PC MUSEUM
Carriages, not cars, once ruled the road. These forerunners of automobiles and trucks were essential to American life in the 1800s. Now, visitors to the Park City Museum can experience diverse artifacts that help tell the story of early transportation. “We’re excited to have this nationally traveling exhibition to share with our visitors,” says Park City Museum Executive Director, Sandra Morrison. “It is very interactive and explores the entire culture of moving 100 years ago.” Click here for more information.

The Egyptian Theatre has opened Encore Studios-Classes for the Stage, under the direction of Ginger Bess Simons. Deer Valley Grocery~Café produced the winning cocktail “Flower & Pine” in Park City’s annual spring Cocktail Contest. Flower & Pine beat submissions from 11 other local bartenders and mixologists, who together took part in the Park City Restaurant Association’s Spring Cocktail Contest, held at Cisero’s on Wednesday night. TripAdvisor® also named several Utah hotels as among the best in the nation. Five luxury hotels in the Beehive State were selected as TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice winners.
