Join us for the artist reception on Friday, July 27, 5:30-8pm. For this exhibition, O’Malia has created a series of figurative paintings consisting of young men at work and at play. One set of paintings focuses on men in a boxing ring and the other consists of young men playing on or near a waterfront. For O’Malia the paintings are an exercise in deconstructing the rigor of work and the joy of play. |
