2012 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah
Aug 7, 2012 to Aug 12, 2012
This event occurs daily, every 1 day(s).
This is the fourth year for Park City to host the Tour. For the first time, this year-round resort town will host the Overall Finish on Sunday, August 12. Park City hosted a wild-west criterium as Stage Four the 2010 Tour, but will change the format to a longer circuit race, which would include challenging climbs. Within the city limits, altitudes range from 6,720 ft. to 8,460 ft. above sea level, while the surrounding Wasatch Mountains rise to over 10,000 ft.
A week, or even a few days, in this historic former silver mining town is far more memorable than your average vacation destination. And one of the most surprising reasons for this fact hits you before you even arrive. The scenic mountain hideaway with three full-service, year-round resorts is extremely accessible, situated just a 35-minute ride from Salt Lake City International Airport. After you arrive, enjoy over 100 restaurants and bars, world-class lodging properties, miles of hiking and biking trails, hundreds of stores and shops.
