Sundance Report: Here Come the Kennedys!
If you’re in town this week and want to do a little star watching on a Friday afternoon, you might want to hang around outside the MARC (the newly renovated Racquet Club, 1200 Little Kate Rd) to watch the parade of Kennedy family members slated to do the Red Carpet Arrival walk for the film “Ethel.” Scheduled to appear at 1:15 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, January 20 are Ethel Skakel Kennedy, Rory Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Bobby Kennedy Jr., Sheila and Chris Kennedy, Max and Vicki Kennedy, Kerry Kennedy, Patrick and Amy Kennedy, Michael and Mary Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy III, Meaghan Kennedy Townsend, Matt Kennedy, Kate Townsend, and a bunch of other celebs including singer Taylor Swift! The film starts at 2 p.m. (you must have tickets) but the Kennedys will be arriving at 1:15. Bring your cameras. The film promises to be a good one, too, and is slated to air on HBO this year, so stay tuned. Here’s a description from the Sundance Film Festival of good things to come:

ETHEL
A feature length documentary about the remarkable life of Ethel Kennedy, told by those who know Ethel best: her family. Directed by her Emmy-Award winning daughter, Rory Kennedy, the film features candid interviews with Ethel and seven of her children. The film is a personal portrait of Ethel’s political awakening, the life she shared with Robert F. Kennedy, and the years following his death when she raised their eleven children on her own. Intimate, funny, and deeply moving, ETHEL offers a rare look inside a political dynasty strengthened by family bonds, a compassion for others, and a wisdom forged from both hardship and triumph. - Sundance Film Festival catalog
